“Hold” is a romantic ballad that makes you feel good and want to spread some love. In the video, you see Nissi having some fun with a love interest. However, as undeniable as their chemistry is, she goes through a tough time trying to resist the temptation of being with him.
Nissi is currently putting the finishing touches on her new project which will be released in early 2022. With her beautiful sound combining both African and European influences, the cross-cultural tone of Nissi’s music artistically mirrors the path she has taken in life.
Her brother Burna Boy has been at the top of the Afrobeat game for a while now and it would appear that music is clearly in her DNA. She has lived in England since 2011 and this has allowed her to incorporate many different flavours to create her thrilling sound.
It’s early days yet for Nissi, but the signs are that she could make a massive impact in the game for many years to come.
