In recent times, Noisey have made a number of documentaries which have focused on UK culture and now their new documentary titled Don’t Call It Road Rap explores the UK rap scene.
Don’t Call It Road Rap is narrated and hosted by the legendary Mike Skinner who uses the documentary to look at the history and current state of the rap scene. From the emergence of UK gangsta rap to the popular Chicago-inspired drill scene, the Noisey documentary offers some useful insight into the factors which have shaped UK rap. Various artists also feature in the short film including 67, Section Boyz, C Biz and many more.
