So everything about this story is super bookie and we don’t know who or what we can trust when it comes to North Korean news but…
Recent reports are claiming that a woman involved in North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s brother, Kim Jong-nam’s, assassination was once a contestant on the Korean edition of Pop Idol. For real.
Okay so the only way of backing this up is the fact that the woman who is currently being detained, Doan Thi Huong looks a lot like a Pop Idol contestant from 2016. The two women (or one?) have also been photographed wearing the same graphic tee which simply reads “LOL”.
Doan and another woman of Indonesian nationality have been arrested after CCTV footage shows them rushing the dictator’s brother at Kuala Lumpar airport before rubbing something on his face. Supposedly, whatever they rubbed on him was poisonous and killed the breh.
That does sound maybe a bit too similar to Seth Rogen and James Franco’s film The Interview (the movie that almost caused world war three) in which a public personality is employed to take out the dictatorship. Maybe North Korea are just trolling us with some #FakeNews? Or maybe it’s so f-cking mad it has to be true.
