From releasing his debut album to receiving a nomination for the 2018 Hyundai Mercury Prize, 2018 has been a big year for Novelist and he has celebrated his recent achievements by sharing the visuals for “Dot Dot Dot”.

The single, which is taken from his debut album ‘Novelist Guy’, sees the south London artist tackle a nostalgic grime instrumental to unleash some real and direct lyrics about politics, the ends, and much more. The dimly-lit, black and white visuals are simple and show Novelist reflecting and reciting his lyrics on and around a staircase.

The visuals for “Dot Dot Dot” come just days after Novelist performed at the 2018 Hyundai Mercury Prize awards ceremony. Despite not winning the award, to have your debut album acknowledged by the Prize is an achievement which speaks volumes about Novelist’s craftsmanship as a musician and suggests we can expect huge things from the artist in the future.
