Novelist has taken the link between Grime and fashion just that bit further by collaborating with LA streetwear brand Joyrich for a ruff capsule collection.
Nov combined Joyrich’s intricate use of unusual finishes and shapes with his love of workwear. The collection holds personal touches from the Lewisham don, with “mmm yeh” branding and the MC’s love for bandanas carefully interposed on the pieces. The collection will drop exclusively at London’s EJDER today.
He told i-D, “I knew that I wanted to design my own clothing at some point and my ideas went hand in hand with Joyrich.”
Novelist goes on to say he loves the brand for it’s use of colour, and praises his collection for it’s celebration of joining hard work and UK style.
“When you look at the collection it gives the feel of being ready to get something done. That could be anything.”
