Lewisham’s Novelist has treated us to a new project entitled Quantum Leap.
In addition to being a talented MC, Novelist is also a genius on the buttons and this is something he demonstrates on his new 6-track beat tape.
The project begins with some uplifting words from Nov on “Intro”, before he comes through with a production style reminiscent of the 1980s on tracks such as “Freedom” and “The Sapphires”. Despite this, Novelist ends the tape with a more contemporary feel on “Billionaire Boys” – a beat which would marry perfectly with some bars from Nov.
