There’s being a thrill seeker and then there is just pure mental behaviour. These daredevils probably fall into the latter category.
YouTuber Dark Scape has become popular due to his high-risk stunts and this one certainly tops the lot of them. He decided to climb iconic Canary Wharf skyscraper One Canada Square.
He and a couple of acquaintances, who filmed the entire thing, scale the entire building from the outside with no harness or other protection, even touching the iconic pyramid at the top.
They described the stunt as “virtually impossible” and upon reaching the summit, said, “My heart is pounding. We can literally see the whole of London, just everything.”
A spokesperson for the building have since commented, “We are actively investigating unauthorised entry into One Canada Square, on the Canary Wharf Estate.
“Security is taken extremely seriously at Canary Wharf. We invest heavily in our security and review the processes on a regular basis.
“Current arrangements have been tightened, while our security procedures are being reviewed and an internal investigation conducted. We are working closely with the Metropolitan Police on this matter.”
One Canada Square was the tallest building in Europe until being overtaken by The Shard in 2010.
