In the words of Odeal himself, it wouldn’t be November without another OVMBR project and he’s only gone and presented us with a new one!
OVMBR: Hits No Mrs, the sequel in the EP series, is made up of five brand-new tracks from Odeal who fuses elements of afroswing and R&B to piece together a smooth project for our speakers.
The project is infused with a spirited vibe but the lead single “1942” hears Odeal slow things down to showcase his range on a minimalistic production.
Vocally, Odeal goes it alone throughout the project but we do hear him team up with producers PB, Jay Weathers, and Eyes who assist the south Londoner in honing the polished soundscape.
This EP wraps up what’s been a very busy year for Odeal who’s released a string of big singles, such as “Passenger” and “Na You” with Marzi, and hopefully he keeps up the work rate in 2022.
