Offica has given the visual treatment to his track “Genesis”, the intro track to his album Hokage, which arrived last week.
The project is a vibrant fusion of his diverse musical and cultural influences, drawing from Yoruba mythology, his Irish upbringing, UK rap sounds and his love for the Japanese Anime series Naruto. The album’s theme is based on a Naruto character called Hokage, the king of his village. Hokage in Drogheda, as part one is dubbed, focuses on his life in Ireland, featuring introspective hip-hop tracks and energetic bangers.
