A body has been found in the search for a missing Bristol University student, Olisa Odukwe, police have confirmed.
Avon and Somerset Police have said formal identification has not been carried out yet but Olisa’s family have been told.
Olisa went missing on Saturday (May 1) after he was last seen leaving in his home in Redland at 7am.
On May 3, police launched an appeal to help find Olisa and added that they were “extremely concerned” for his welfare.
In the statement today which confirmed a body had been found, police said they are not treating the death as suspicious.
The University of Bristol men’s football team, who Olisa played for, issued a tribute overnight.
