With social distancing still enforceable by law and curfews at bars, pubs and restaurants rife across the country, many of us were shocked to see a video on social media doing the rounds of a large group of people playing cricket in the streets in Peckham in South London.
With Peckham also undergoing gentrification intensely in the last few years, social media commenters were also intrigued about the diverse demographic of people which made up the video.
Along with jokes, the video has also sparked debate about classism, regentrification, policing during the COVID-19 pandemic and mental health.
