Back in 2019 it was announced a People Just Do Nothing film is on the way and now the trailer for the film has finally arrived!

Scheduled to hit cinemas on August 18th, the movie follows the Kurupt FM guys as they attempt to conquer Japan after hearing that one of their songs is used in a popular game show in the country.

Judging by the trailer, the film will just be as hilarious as the popular People Just Do Nothing mockumentary series which first aired on the BBC in 2014, before coming to an end in 2018.

“Since the end of their pirate radio station, life has been quiet for the Kurupt FM boys, but everything is about to change,” the official synopsis for the film reads.

“News reaches them that one of their songs has been used on a popular game show in Japan. They’ve made it! Their music is reaching hundreds of thousands of people! It’s finally time for them to enjoy the fame and fortune that they’ve always known they deserved.”

In the film, Chabuddy G resumes his role as manager of Kurupt FM’s Grindah, Beats, Steves and Decoy in the film and together the crew set off on their journey to international stardom.
