With Kendall Jenner’s recent attempt to smooth troubled waters with a can of Pepsi in the now infamous advert is still fresh in everyone’s minds, a Youtuber has decided to try the peace-bringing soft drink trick to life. It didn’t go well.
Comedian Vito Gesualdi attended a protest at Berkeley to see if he could work the same miracles that Kendall did, armed with nothing but his camera and a backpack full of Pepsi, he set out to unite the two sides.
As you might imagine he didn’t have the same success that Kendall did on the advert. He did find a random box of Pepsi on the street though, so looks like he wasn’t the only one with the idea. Unsurprisingly, neither the rowdy protesters or the stoic police officers were getting in on the joke.
