Devon-born, London-based rising artist Phoenix Laoutaris is back with her second solo single titled “When The Lights Go Down”.

It’s been a while since we last heard from Phoenix but her silky vocals remain intact on this drop as she glides over LiTek’s R&Drill production.

This new track follows on from Phoenix’s feature on MoStack’s “Real Love” and her 2021 debut “Flowers” – which she first premiered for an ImJustBait talent contest that she went on to win.

Speaking on “When The Lights Go Down”, Phoenix said: “It is a song of hope after really hard times – it touches upon the despair and effort it takes to sustain love struggling in unhealthy dimensions of deceit and lies. More importantly though, it is about recognising and being grateful for the loyal relationships of family and friends and to be aware of people who’s intentions aren’t true. It’s about priorities and realisation”.
