Pinkpantheress has wasted no time in establishing herself as one of the leading songstresses of the overall UK music scene. British music has long been dominated by a wide range of incredibly talented vocalists, and as a result Pinkpantheress’s ascent to the top (largely off the back of social media and left field soundscapes) is a celebration of the potential of the underground.
With the release of her excellent sophomore Heaven Knows, Pinkpantheress sat down with Rob Bruce of Capital Xtra. Discussing her unique journey from Canterbury to London to international stardom, whilst also taking plenty of time to discuss the music itself (including that collab with Central Cee) and what we can expect for the future. The result is a reflective yet also forward-looking conversation; it’s clear that whilst she has achieved so much in such a short period of time, the sky is the limit for Pinkpantheress.
