Last year, it was reported that Drake and Playboi Carti had a collaboration in the works and now a reported snippet of their joint effort has leaked online.
Titled “Pain 1993”, the snippet sees Drake flow over a bouncy beat produced by Pi’erre Bourne – who produces much of Playboi Carti’s material. Although Carti’s lyrics can’t be heard during the snippet, faint audios of his ad-libs can be heard in the background – suggesting that it could in fact be a preview of what’s to come from the two rappers.
Playboi Carti is believed to be working on his sophomore album so perhaps we can expect “Pain 1993” to make an appearance on the LP.
