Official data released in November last year shows that 366,841 plants were seized by the feds in 2014-2015, which had actually decreased from the previous year. This means around 1,000 plants were taken from houses in England and Wales every day. Deep.
London’s Metropolitan Police force had the highest number of seizures of Britain’s police forces with 38,369.
The West Midlands Police seized the highest number of individual plants of all the police forces in the country, with over 54,700 plants taken. Greater Manchester followed behind with 41,569.
