There was panic in Germany when police were called, after reports of a giant Hitler appearing on the streets of Berlin.
One terrified driver called the police to report a huge moving image of Hitler laughing on the streets. Thankfully this wasn’t something from a mash-up horror movie, but actually an art installation.
Images and propaganda that glorify Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich are forbidden my law in Germany, but Valeska Jakubowski, a police spokeperson in Germany, cleared up why it was allowed.
She said the incident, which was actually the first test of a brand new lights show coming to an art installation in the city, got past the laws on a creative license basis.
