After teasing us with the project in recent months, Potter Payper has finally released his long-awaited tape Training Day 3.
Since his emergence towards the start of the last decade, Potter Payper has a reputation for always keeping it real on the mic and his authentic rap style takes centre stage on his latest project.
Serving as the follow-up to Training Day 2 which dropped back in 2016, TD3 is comprised of 24 original tracks from Potter – with the only collaboration on the project coming from Mover on “Streets”. From start to finish, the cohesive body of work is filled with gritty lyrics from Potter whose lyrics are always inspired by real life events.
Speaking on the project, Potter said: “The project reflects my heart in a dark place, but it doesn’t mean it’s all dark, you have fond memories – it’s what keeps you going when you’re locked up. Those songs are never a reflection of me when it comes out, I could write lyrics today and it would be completely different vibes as a free man.”
In case you didn’t know by now, real’s back in style and you can take in Training Day 3 below as proof of this statement!
