After hitting us with several teasers, Poundz has finally unleashed his highly-anticipated single “Smooth Criminal”.
Sharing the same title as Michael Jackson’s 1988 hit, Poundz’s latest offering sees the south London spitter cleverly pay homage to the King of Pop while simultaneously putting his own greazy spin on the phrase.
The Michael Jackson theme extends to the visuals where Poundz re-creates MJ’s “Smooth Criminal” visuals, dressing up in a white suit, and exhibiting his clean moonwalk and dance moves.
Anticipation for this single has been high for a minute and now that it’s arrived, we can definitely expect the single to be an anthem which continues to grow throughout 2020.
