Just weeks after 50 Cent confirmed the premiere date for the series, the official trailer for Power Book II: Ghost has now been released.
Due to debut on September 6, Power Book II will pick up 72 hours after the Power finale and will follow Tariq’s (Michael Rainey) life in college. The series will also star Naturi Naughton who plays Tasha, as well as new additions to the Power family Method Man and Mary J. Blige.
Speaking on the series, 50 Cent – executive producer of the series – said: “The Power Universe just keeps getting bigger and better and Power Book II: Ghost is getting ready to raise the bar again.
“We can’t wait for the fans to see what is in store for all of the characters they know and those they are about to meet. I have told you before, Power never ends… we are just getting started.”
