As the spread of coronavirus in the UK and beyond continues to impact day to day life, the Premier League, EFL and Barclays FA Women’s Super League and FA Women’s Championship have collectively agreed to postpone professional games.
For now, games have been postponed until at least 3 April at the earliest, however, this could change.
As the news broke, BBC sports editor Dan Roan added:
The postponements include all matches within the Championship, League One and Two as along with all academy and youth team fixtures.
It will also apply to all England team fixtures at every level as well as all FA competitions including the FA Cup and Women’s FA Cup.
Updates to follow.
