QPR player Steven Caulker got himself into hot water in the early hours of Sunday morning after being stopped by police near Victoria Street Car Park, Windsor and refusing to give a breath sample, subsequently getting himself arrested.
His arrest comes just a month after being fined for attempting to put a barrier on someone’s head at Clapham Junction Station. The 25 year old former Tottenham defender was fined £650 and ordered to pay £85 costs after Sundays incident.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said, “[We] can confirm that Steven Caulker, aged 25, of Richmond, has been charged with failing to provide a specimen for breath analysis required under the Road Traffic Act 1988. It is connection with an incident near the Victoria Street Car Park, Windsor this morning 12/03/17“
The footballer has been bailed and due to appear at Slough Magistrates’ Court on March 27th.
