Due to be released in the UK on November 19th, the flagship PS5 will cost £449 while the “digital edition” which doesn’t have a disc drive will cost £359.
Sony’s upcoming flagship console will cost the exact same price as Microsoft’s Xbox Series X, but the digital edition is £100 more than Microsoft’s Xbox Series S.
Sony revealed the cost and release dates during a showcase on Wednesday (September 16) where they also displayed upcoming games for the consoles such as Final Fantasy XVI and Hogwarts Legacy – a role-playing game set in the Harry Potter universe in the 1800s.
