Over on Beats 1 radio this week, Zane Lowe had another super star guest on his show, as Puff Daddy aka Diddy came through the studio.
The pair got to talking about Puffy’s illustrious career over the years and his days helming the legendary Bad Boy label. The hot topic of the conversation is when he gets to talking about the forthcoming documentary film based on the label, which is due out on Apple Music from June 25th.
He said to Zane, “I feel that between me and whole Bad Boy family we’ve had a part in moving the culture forward. That really runs the world now… I was the first artist to have a big record in Europe with “Missing You”, all over the world. The first one really going on the road and people seeing me.
“I remember hip hop artists were afraid to go overseas. Now to see this thing be this global lifestyle that keeps us all connected, this global culture, and having some sort of hand in that in a positive way is a blessing.”
