Quavo calls on Madonna, Drake & more for solo album

Migos member Quavo embarks on a solo mission with the release of his first solo album Quavo Huncho.

The melodic artist who is one third of hip-hop group Migos who are famous for the hits “Bad and Boujee”, “Motorsport” and “Versace” treated fans to his individual artistry and star power with his 19 track release.

Quavo introduces himself on the opening track “Biggest Alley Oop” and proceeds to offer a project full of trap bangers.

Quavo Huncho features appearances from Migos members Offset and Takeoff as well as Drake, Lil Baby, Davido and 21 Savage.

Quavo also calls on Cardi B and music icon Madonna for the track “Champagne Rosé” which sees Madonna provide catchy autotune tinged vocals and Cardi B spit a braggadocios verse.

The Atlanta hailing artist also links up with frequent collaborator Travis Scott for the track “Rerun”. This track follows their joint album Hunco Jack, Jack Huncho released in late 2017.

Quavo Huncho follows a string of solo endeavours by the artist including guest appearances on Travis Scott and Young Thug’s “Pick Up the Phone”, Post Malone’s “Congratulations” and DJ Khaled’s hit songs “I’m the One” and “No Brainer”. Quavo is not the only member of Migos to be focusing on solo projects; the youngest member of the group, Takeoff, reportedly skipped out on attending the American Music Awards where the group won an award as he is focusing on recording his own solo effort due to be released later this year.
