Fast becoming one of the UK’s most important launchpads for emerging rap talent, Rap Council returns with its latest showcase event, SHUTDOWN, set to take place on Friday 20 March 2026 at 229 London.
Opening its doors from 6:00pm, the night begins with DJ sets and guest appearances led by StyllUnknown alongside a lineup of collaborators. A major highlight of the evening will be a large-scale cypher featuring 15 rising rappers from across the capital, including Twenty8, Amzzino, Luis Rico, Oskar Remz, Lobo, and Grimm Dreamurr, among others.
Topping the bill are several of the most talked-about breakthrough artists of recent years, including JayaHadADream, Ceebo, Tay Jordan, Jay Malakhi, and Deca OTA. Each artist enjoyed a breakout year in 2025, and their appearance at SHUTDOWN signals the arrival of a new generation shaping the future of UK rap.
