Rasstokyo has come through with a brand new EP under the name of Dark White.
While previously working with the likes of House of Pharoahs and Octavian’s Essie Gang, the wavy MC/producer has put together a sick project stretching over six fresh tunes. Opening with “Whats The Point”, we hear Rasstokyo skip over the quick high hats and critical 808s as his melodic flow boasts sauce, swagger and confidence. The mellow sounding vocals compliment the trap-styled instrumental, with the opener really setting the tone for the rest of the project.
Other stand-out tracks come from “Phat” featuring Vanegro, as the catchy hook is once again complimented by a bouncy instrumental, with Tokyo and his counterpart hitting the wavy tune with cheeky lyrics, boasting their lavish lifestyles with the ladies. “Outro” featuring Mekah comes with a different sound as the harmony-infused chorus separates Tokyo’s deep vocals with a classy sound which highlights more maturity of the Rasstokyo sound.
