Ray BLK has released the thought provoking new video for “Chill Out”, her current single from her incredible debut project Durt.
The track, which features SG Lewis on production, focuses on the social pressures of women and aims to challenge this. Ray melodically sings over an atmospheric beat, “You’re making a big deal of nothing/You should chill out.”
The new visuals are phenomenal and take the songs lyrics to a slightly different place, reinterpreting them and empowering a group of LBGT Caribbean people.
Recently, RAY was nominated for best breakthrough act at GRM’s Rated Awards, which also saw her perform a stripped back rendition of “My Hood”.
