October saw Drake announcing his latest tour, having not performed nation-wide this side of the pond since 2014, and the Boy Meets World 17-date tour sold out in a matter of minutes.
But it’s a sad day for fans hoping to see him in Glasgow and London in the next few weeks, as these have now been postponed until March. The Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena shows on January 25 and January 26, will now move to March 22 and 23, while the O2 show in London on January 28 now taking place on March 20.
With this tour speculated as being one of his biggest to date, the delay comes due to “incredible” new additions to the show.
Citing “production setbacks” as the reason, his management have released a statement reading, “Drake wanted to create a special experience for fans in Europe and the UK so he has added some incredible new features to an already specular production.
“Unfortunately due to unforeseen production setbacks it will need a little more time to be ready. Drake can’t wait to see all his fans so he can deliver an amazing and memorable experience.”
With his latest project More Life due to drop early this year, we’re looking forward to seeing who he’ll be bringing on tour with him.
