Red Bull Music Academy is hitting the road this spring! The Red Bull Music Academy UK Tour will roll through Glasgow, Bristol, London and Manchester for a month-long programme of club nights, shows, lectures, workshops, daytime parties, live radio broadcasts and special events from some of music’s most eminent emissaries.
Taking the Academy’s signature style and mixing it with the size of a city festival, the UK Tour takes over a different city each week for a unique mix of events that draws on each city’s cultural background.
The programme is a mix of collaborations between local heroes, institutions and labels, saluting the homegrown talent that forms the bedrock of these musical locations alongside a roster of world-class heavyweights. From lectures with A$AP Rocky, Seth Troxler and Danny Brown, to adventures from Numbers, Goat and DJ Koze; a Wolf + Lamb all-dayer, Chapter 10’s take on a traditional tea dance headlined by Joe Claussell; Rebel Sound bringing out the big guns with Congo Natty and Earl Gateshead, to a workshop with production wizard Julio Bashmore, the UK Tour is a sweeping showcase of today’s emerging and established icons.
