Nigerian star Rema has marked his return with a new offering titled “Calm Down”.
With tracks such as “Soundgasm” and “Dumebi” under his belt, it’s very clear Rema knows how to make a hit and this is something he proves once again on “Calm Down” – a breezy single with a catchy lyrics and light melodies.
“”Calm Down” is about the events that led me to finding love at the time,” Rema said of the song. “It started at a party where I saw a girl who stood out from other girls so I felt like shooting my shot.
“We spoke and danced… but her friends didn’t let me get any closer which killed the vibe, but afterwards when they weren’t there, we stayed in touch and hit it off.”
“Calm Down” emerges as Rema prepares to release his long-awaited debut album which begins a new phase for the 21-year-old artist.
