Nigerian artist Rema has joined Noisey for their series, “The People Vs”.
In these videos, we see popular artists going through their YouTube comments. Before any new viewers make the assumption that this is gonna be a strictly positive experience, let us just fill you in and say it can also be riddled with some more sensitive comments. This all makes for very entertaining viewing.
The video in question for this episode is Rema’s video for his single “Dumebi”, which was dropped early last year and currently has over 20 million views. As you can imagine, there are also a lot of very vocal opinions attached to these visuals as well.
Rema shows a very humble level of maturity here, where he takes some of the harsher remarks on the chin and doesn’t let them phase him. He also has some witty and playful responses.
