Rick Ross’ American-based chicken chain Wingstop is coming to the UK.
With just over 1,000 locations across the globe, the flagship store aim to feed the masses as the company plans for a European takeover. The company announced that their very first British franchise will open this summer and will be in the heart of central London.
The CEO states, “The London flagship will the first of a planned 100 locations set to open across the UK throughout the next twelve years.”
“We’ve been very, very focused on about 20 to 25 markets around the globe that we feel are high-chicken consumption markets, have a good competitive set and where we could really differentiate,” revealed Larry Kruger, president of international at Wingstop. “One of those markets just happened to be in Europe.
So whether it’s Wingstop or Crepes and Cones, there’s plenty of choices of where to grab a munch across London this summer.
