Remember when the internet realised that Rihanna lived in London?

Thanks to that now-viral image of Rihanna posing near a Sainsbury’s bag, social media was able to rejoice that the UK’s capital and cultural hub was now home to one of the world’s biggest stars.

Rihanna later revealed that she had been calling London home for three years and later said that Brixton was one of her favourite places to go – “I’d rather go to Brixton but if I do that now, and I try to get some Jamaican food, it’s going to be an event, you know? So if I want a night out, I go hang with the people I would never hang with. And I just, I’m just in my bubble which I really enjoy about London.”

After revealing that she lived in North London and very close to a “cute little Jamaican market”, the internet went into a frenzy in trying to guess which North London neighbourhood had the luxury of being able to say that Rihanna lived on their ends.

Was Rihanna living in Camden? Islington perhaps? Did Rihanna chill in Willesden or Harlesden and mean Blue Mountain Peak as her Jamaican market?

Now, the house has gone on the market and the £18,000 a week in rent property has been revealed to be in St John’s Wood.

Currently on the market for £32 million, the property’s description reads, “An imposing double fronted detached period residence (588 sq m/6,332 sq ft) discreetly situated behind a secure carriage drive accommodating up to 10 vehicles.”

“The property provides extensive family accommodation benefiting from exceptional entertaining areas, an indulgent principal bedroom suite, a private passenger lift and a very large south-west facing garden. Furthermore, detailed planning consent has been obtained and implemented to increase the existing accommodation to 1,503.54 sq m/16,183.18 sq ft.”
