Rising singer-rapper Rio Rainz has returned this week with his new single “Favourite Girl”.
Produced by Kurisu – who has previously worked with dexter, Mac Wetha, Rachel Chinouriri and Arz – the track is a jazzy-rap infused lullaby with Rio showing off his hopeless romantic side in the shape of a summery Bonnie and Clyde anthem. Having sat on the track for over a year, during pre-release it gained over one million views on his teasers already and today Rio releases the full thing to the world.
2023 marks a new chapter for the rising musician who arrives in his most comfortable and confident place with his debut performance coming up at this year’s The Great Escape.
