Rising Londoner Rio Rainz has treated us to an all-new single titled “Poison”.
Despite its eerie title, “Poison” is a catchy drop from Rio who teams up with director Kid Apollo to deliver a fun – yet introspective – set of visuals.
“I wanted there to be a juxtaposition of writing a feel-good summer smash yet still underlining topics of what my project is about and ultimately means to me,” Rio said when explaining “Poison”. “The beauty of the track is that poison can be interpreted to whatever you like, it could be about drugs, the work you do or even a relationship.”
“Poison” follows the release of Rio’s May release “Damaged”, with both tracks set to feature on the 18 year old’s debut EP, Withdrawal Symptoms, which is out on July 29th.
