According to shocking reports in his native Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Real Madrid.
The decision has been described as “irreversible”, with the 31-year-old reportedly angry at his treatment by Spanish tax authorities and now wants to leave the country.
The former Manchester United winger has been investigated by Spanish prosecutors over tax that they believe he should have paid on image rights income, with a huge amount of €15m fraudulent money allegedly being taken from the taxpayer.
The report comes from A Bola, a newspaper in his native Portugal, who also recently claimed that Ronaldo could be on the move for a whopping €180m bid this summer, with Paris Saint-Germain allegedly his destination.
Some are suggesting that Ronaldo could even be on his way back to the red side of Manchester, with fans and club official alike all, naturally, still huge fans of one of the best players in the world.
Whether he leaves or not remains to be seen, but it’s sure to be an interesting summer.
