Leicester’s Sainté has just dropped the visuals for his latest single “Old Times”.
The video was shot and directed by Ashan, Sainté’s friend, who is also part of YSM Collective, a two-man crew formed by him and Sainté.
The Midlands rapper has come to take over the scene and has had an astonishing ascension since he dropped “Champagne Shots” last year, which is one of the first singles he released.
Sainté has managed to climb up the ladder in the music scene incredibly fast, racking up over 10 million streams and hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners on Spotify from the UK and Australia in less than a year.
He combines hip hop with jazz and R&B and, unlike other rappers from Midlands, he also brings in lots of American influences through his long time collaboration with L.A based producer Parker Jazz, who has also produced “Old Times”.
