It was always the ambition of SALUTE to make it free to enter so that the initiative and competition is accessible and inclusive to everyone.
Having launched with a pay-to-play policy we have been blown away by the response from Music Makers, which have exceeded all expectations! Luckily it has reached a position where it’s now free!
This new development does not affect the prize money or shared revenue scheme offered by SALUTE – the prize pot remains the biggest in the world for any independent music prize! The winner will still receive a £50,000 (in total) cash prize and each finalist will take home £10,000. Now’s the time to take advantage and upload up to four tracks to SALUTE for FREE!
