Samm Henshaw makes a striking comeback with his latest single “Get Back”, while revealing plans for a vinyl-exclusive release of his forthcoming album It Could Be Worse, arriving 21st November.
In typical fashion, Samm defies industry norms—bringing back the tangible magic of discovery by keeping this project completely offline, encouraging fans to experience it in its purest, physical form.
Produced by Josh Grant, “Get Back” drifts through dreamy keys and a warm, rolling rhythm of bass and drums, creating an atmosphere both nostalgic and forward-looking. Henshaw’s soulful vocals carry a quiet yearning as he poses the question, “How do we get back?”, before the track dissolves into a glowing, retro-tinged synth outro that nods to ‘70s soul. Speaking on the song’s meaning, Samm reflects: “It’s about looking back at a moment you might have overlooked, realising its beauty, and wanting to return to that feeling.”
