If it’s not phones, it’s washing machines.

Samsung could be looking at some hefty lawsuits after their latest technology fail, having sold hundreds of top-loading washing machines which have been over-vibrating and causing the lids to burst.

So far the faults have led to some pretty horrific injuries, including a shoulder injury, blunt force injuries, and even a broken jaw.

Sad news for Samsung, as it’s not been two minutes since their Galaxy Note 7 phone batteries were overheating and catching fire, causing them to have to suspend production and recall millions of handsets. Not only this but a few months ago a Houston family also reported their Samsung washing machine had burned down their house.

John Herrington, Samsung’s US senior vice president, commented “Our priority is to reduce any safety risks in the home and to provide our customers with easy and simple choices in response to the recall”.

Samsung subsequently recalled a total of nearly three million washing machines, after 733 complaints were received about the machines ‘experiencing excessive vibration or the top detaching from the washing machine chassis’.
