Legendary American actor Samuel L Jackson recently popped into New York radio station Hot 97’s studio for a chat with Ebro and the team.
Some controversy has come from his appearance on the show, related to some comments he directed at British actors, including singling out Daniel Kaluuya.
Jackson spoke on Kaluuya and his role in the hotly anticipated movie movie Get Out, claiming that he shouldn’t have played the role over an American actor as he comes from a country that hasn’t experienced racism like the US. He also went on to add that British actors were cheaper to higher and this was the reason for their high profile presence in Hollywood.
