The Classic Sega Mega Drive Console Is Making A Huge Comeback

The classic Sega Mega Drive console is set to make a huge comeback this year – but as a smaller version.

Speaking to fans at its annual event, Sega announced the release date and price of the Mega Drive Mini.

The console will be released on September 19 2019 and will cost around £69.99 in the UK.

Games such as Altered Beast, Sonic the Hedgehog and Toejam and Earl will be released alongside the Sega Mega Drive Mini.

The announcement follows the release of Nintendo’s NES and SNES mini consoles, as well as Sony’s PlayStation’s Classic.
