North London’s Shay D has linked up with legendary MC P Money for her new single “Slice of the Pie”.
On this latest track the two artists provide us with gritty bars and brash delivery, complete with a catchy hook from Shay D, over an ominous instrumental courtesy of Filthy Gears.
Speaking on the track, Shay D said: “The song is about having no handouts, no leg up, no cheat code, grinding yourself to work your way up to share your rewards, provide and celebrate the wins with your peoples.”
From landing a resident show on Reprezent radio and a BBC 1xtra drivetime mix, Shay D has been keeping active over the past year and this collab is another big move for the spitter.
