It’s been over two years since Skepta released his award-winning Konnichiwa album but the rapper has finally announced the name of his upcoming LP, SkLEVEL.
The Boy Better Know frontman took to Instagram to reveal the news by sharing a dark photo of himself accompanied by the caption: “#SkLEVEL the album next. Predictions?”
At the moment, the title of the project is all we have as Skepta has left it up to his fans to speculate what the album might sound like and who may feature on the tape.
The news comes just hours after Skepta announced the birth of his child by sharing an image of a Prada holdall containing nappies.
Despite not releasing a project for over two years, Skepta has still been busy as his huge collaboration with A$AP Rocky, “Praise The Lord”, recently went platinum in the U.S. He also made history back in September by becoming the first grime artist to shut down the iconic Sydney Opera House venue.
While we wait for more details about SkLEVEL to emerge, make sure you check out Skepta’s recent collab with LD entitled “Neighbourhood Watch”.
