Jamaican star Skillibeng has drafted in American rapper Nardo Wick to drop “16CHOPPA” alongside visuals.
This collaboration is backdropped by an eerie instrumental which prompts both rappers to come through with aggression. After Skilli sets things off with his no-nonsense approach, Nardo slides through with a verse which is equally as cruddy.
To match the militant sound of the song, the visuals are striking and show Skilli and Nardo gearing up for war.
“16CHOPPA” arrives as Skillibeng’s first release of the year and follows on from a big 2022 for the artist who created hits such as “Whap Whap Whap” and “Blessing Me” with Mura Masa and Pa Salieu. With 2023 in full swing, he’ll look to build on that success this year.
