Flying the flag high for Jamaica, Skillibeng keeps his foot on the gas dropping the double sided visual experience to the artist’s fusion of dancehall and classical disciplines in the two-piece releasee “Piana – Beethoven Medley”.
Renowned for his intoxicating cadence on energy-fuelled soundscapes, Skillibeng provides a slower take to the track’s first side; tending to the mellow cadence of the sombre ‘piana’ progression courtesy of Eastsyde Records, until passing on the baton to Johnny Wonder & Adde to cultivate the bass-heavy ‘Beethoven Medley’ on the B side.
Wrapping this one up, Skillibeng turns to RD Studios JA to bring this number to life; presenting the dancehall artist sat in the Jamaican fields before a grand piano as a graceful ballet dancer moves beside him.
The two tracks are taken from Skillibeng’s brand-new tape, Crocodile Teeth, which features appearances from the likes of Stefflon Don, Popcaan, Bobby Shmurda, Rich The Kid and Lil Zack.
