Slawn’s new project, Not An Artist, brings together a wide-ranging cast of artists including Unknown T, Blackhaine, Obongjayar, AntsLive, Jammer, Cochise, Youngs Teflon, Tiny Boost, Kida Kudz, Yuno Miles, JELEEL!, and many more. Slawn turned Saatchi Yates into an extraordinary meeting point for music and visual art, capturing a moment where multiple creative worlds collided and highlighting London’s continued influence within contemporary culture.

For the duration of the exhibition, visual artist Slawn transformed the gallery into an active working studio. Renamed Slawn’s Studio, the installation ran from 22 January to 22 February and allowed visitors to observe his artistic process unfolding live. Rather than presenting finished works alone, the space embraced experimentation and collaboration, blurring the line between a traditional exhibition and the environment where the art itself is created.

Overseeing the musical sessions as executive producer was Arthur Bean, known for his work on five tracks from Central Cee’s debut album Can’t Rush Greatness. Guided by Bean’s direction, the project balanced spontaneity with careful craft, drawing together a diverse range of voices and styles into a cohesive, forward-looking body of work.
