Northampton’s slowthai has released a brand-new single entitled “nhs”.
Serving as the follow-up to “feel away” featuring James Blake and Mount Kimbie, “nhs” is just as mellow as its predecessor as slowthai takes on a controlled production to offer some thought-provoking lyrics.
While the track pays homage to the UK’s National Health Service and their amazing work during the current panemic, the theme of Covid is extended to the visuals which show slowthai queuing up outside a store and stockpiling on toilet roll – a nod to the events of lockdown
“nhs” is set to feature on slowthai’s forthcoming second studio album which was also announced today and is due for release on February 5th.
